Shaheed Rajaie Cardiovascular Medical and Research Center is one of the largest specialty and subspecialty university hospital with about 600-beds exclusively in service of cardiac patients in the Middle Eastern countries. It is located in the north of Tehran in 110000 square meters of richly wooded land adjoined by Mellat Park, one of Tehran’s most beautiful park. It was founded in 1970 with 300 beds and over the years the facilities, both scientific and technological have expanded.
The patients at this center receive the benefits of advanced technology in conjunction with highly educated and experienced scientific staffs and along with care and attention that focus on their needs. We currently enjoy the services of over 2059 staff members, 133 full-time medical faculty members, and 234 residents, specialist fellows, and subspecialist fellows in various cardiovascular disciplines.
SRCMRC has recently been awarded the title “Center of Excellence in Cardiovascular Medicine” by the Iranian Ministry of Health and Higher Education in recognition of the state-of-the-art equipment and cutting-edge treatment modalities which the Center offers through its highly qualified medical and non-medical personnel.
