Deputy of Research

Regarding the needs of the region for advanced research in cardiovascular sciences and also nominating of SRCMRC as a center of excellence, Iran cardiovascular research institute has been established in this center. Until now, numerous researches have provided valuable information to the country and scientific community. Moreover, this center was selected as the center of excellence of cardiology in 2009.

Within the framework of the Iranian cardiovascular Research institute, this institute has six active research centers and five training and research departments which are doing research in various fields of cardiovascular diseases such as Cardiovascular imaging, Pediatric and adult cardiovascular diseases, Cardiovascular surgery, Cardiac anesthesiology, Nuclear medicine, Heart failure and heart transplantation, interventional cardiology, cardiac electrophysiology and Echocardiography, Cardiogenetic and, animal models of different cardiovascular diseases.

In this collection, there are also active libraries, the Center for Biomedical and Health Informatics, Data registry, Research Ethics Committee, and Medical device technology unit which are providing services to faculty members, students and researches.
