Research Center Overview
The Cardiac Electrophysiology Research Center is one of the centers affiliated with the Shahid Rajaie Cardiovascular Medical and Research Institute. It was approved and started its activities in 2009.
As the main center of cardiac electrophysiology research in Iran, the center makes every effort to provide resources for research, empower researchers, share the latest scientific achievements, and support efficient retraining for cardiologists and related subspecialty branches in order to improve planning for cardiac patients.

Mission
The main missions of the center include organizing modern research management in cardiac electrophysiology, aligning research with the real needs of society, achieving up-to-date science and technology, evaluating and localizing scientific advances, and applying them in practice.
The center also aims to create an atmosphere of public participation and teamwork in research, provide research facilities for all those interested in research, identify and support innovators in applied research, and maintain an active and effective presence in international scientific communities.

- Creation of data registries related to genetic and heart rhythm diseases

- Institutionalizing ethics in research based on Islamic teachings
