Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Department
Overview and Capabilities
The Department of Nuclear Medicine was founded in 1977. It is located on the B floor of Shaheed Rajaie Cardiovascular Medical and Research Center, in an approximate area of 1000 square meters.
Qualified nuclear physicians, a physicist, and technologists utilize sophisticated state-of-the-art equipment to answer clinical questions related to patients referred to the department.
4 nuclear medicine specialists as faculty members
One physicist, one general practitioner, and more than 20 technicians and nurses
3 SPECT-CT hybrid cameras, one dual-head SPECT Gamma Camera, and a bone mineral densitometer

Diagnostic Services and Research
The Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Department at Shaheed Rajaie Cardiovascular Medical and Research Center offers a wide range of diagnostic services for both inpatients and outpatients.

The Nuclear Medicine Department is also approved by the Iran Ministry of Health to train nuclear medicine residents and technologists.
