Radiology Department Overview
The Radiology Department provides a wide range of radiological services for both inpatients and outpatients. Physicians in the Department of Radiology at Shaheed Rajaie Cardiovascular Medical and Research Center provide a complete range of diagnostic and treatment imaging services, especially in cardiovascular disease.
The radiologists of this ward work cooperatively with other faculty members to diagnose and treat health conditions. More than 150,000 examinations are performed in the radiology department each year. This large number of cases, combined with ongoing research and education, results in broad expertise in the imaging and treatment of cardiovascular diseases affecting people of all ages.

The Radiology Department is approved by the Iran Ministry of Health to train cardiovascular fellows, residents, and technologists. It is the only center in Iran approved for training cardiovascular imaging fellows.
