About Shahid Rajaie Cardiovascular Medical and Research Institute
Shahid Rajaie Cardiovascular Medical and Research Institute is one of the largest specialty and subspecialty university hospitals, with about 600 beds exclusively dedicated to cardiac patients in the Middle East. It is located in the north of Tehran on 110,000 square meters of richly wooded land adjoining Mellat Park, one of Tehran's most beautiful parks. Founded in 1970 with 300 beds, the institute has expanded its scientific and technological facilities over the years.
Patients at this center benefit from advanced technology, highly educated and experienced scientific staff, and care focused on their needs. The center currently benefits from the services of more than 2,059 staff members, 133 full-time medical faculty members, and 234 residents, specialist fellows, and subspecialist fellows across various cardiovascular disciplines.
Achievements
SRCMRC has recently been awarded the title Center of Excellence in Cardiovascular Medicine by the Iranian Ministry of Health and Higher Education, in recognition of its state-of-the-art equipment, cutting-edge treatment modalities, and highly qualified medical and non-medical personnel.
