The Dentistry Department started its activity when the center was founded in 1970, initially with a very limited service of only 1 dental unit. Over the years, the number of units and the quality and quantity of services have increased.

There are 4 full-time dentists working in this department. The services offered to patients are highly specialized and include:
Dental Surgery
Operative Dentistry
Periodontics
Prosthesis
Pediatric dental care
Providing patients with information about the relationship between dental and oral infections and their cardiac conditions or diseases
If necessary, different dentistry procedures can also be provided to cardiac patients under general anesthesia.
Infection Prevention Protocol
One of the valuable activities of the Dentistry Department in recent years has been routine checking of all inpatients for dental and oral infectious problems. This process can help reduce the chance of cardiac infection in the long run.
