Nursing Department
Mission and Responsibilities
SRCMRI is at the forefront of nursing in the country, endeavoring to meet the needs of a changing cardiac health care system and the people who depend on it.
Nurses are engaged in a wide range of activities that support overall patient management and treatment procedures, whether at the bedside or in the increasingly diverse roles nurses fulfill. Their role includes supporting medical assessment, evaluation, and implementation of the appropriate management course outlined by physicians and international protocols.

About 1100 nursing staff work in this center with different levels of education, experience, and responsibility, ranging from the matron and supervisors to nursing aide personnel.

Education and Professional Development
The Nursing Department is affiliated with the School of Nursing of Iran University of Medical Sciences.
Department activities include designing education and development programs to promote nursing staff knowledge and expertise. In line with the clinical sciences evolution program since 2009, this center has been recruiting postgraduate students in intensive care and circulatory technology. All paramedical students of Iran University of Medical Sciences spend part of their training in this center.
