Information Technology (IT) Department
Role and Administration
The Information Technology (IT) Department has been active since 1996. The administrative structure of the department includes the head of department, deputy head, division supervisor, and division engineers.
Hospital IT departments play an essential role in helping hospital staff manage and care for patients. These systems are deeply integrated into modern hospitals, and their reliable performance can be a matter of life or death.
The IT department is responsible for managing clinical software and other processes that help administrative staff maintain patient records and admission systems. It also helps medical wards, operating rooms, and emergency departments run smoothly through systems such as health information management, ordering and receiving lab results, and specialized software for radiology.

Specialized Systems Management
The radiology service uses PACS. INFINITT PACS is a web-based, world-class system with a wide range of functional and up-to-date tools. Support, maintenance, and management of this software, including all CT, MRI, Echo, X-ray, and angiography services, are the responsibility of the IT department.
In addition, the department performs standard IT responsibilities such as providing network infrastructure, IT security, server maintenance, software deployment, desktop support, and help desk operations.
